Description
SO flange with a neck is a flange that is connected to a vessel or pipe through a fillet weld.
Its structure is simple and material saving, but its sealing performance is not as good as that of butt welding flange. It is widely used for connection of medium and low pressure vessels and pipelines.
Sealing surface forms include convex surface (RF), concave surface (FM), convex surface (m), tenon surface (T), groove surface (g) and full plane (FF).

Characteristic
SO flange is applicable to the pipeline system with low pressure grade and no serious pressure fluctuation, vibration and impact.
It is easy to align during welding and assembly, and the price is relatively low, so it has been widely used.
The diameter range includes dn10 ~ DN600.
Application
SO flange with neck also belongs to the flat welding flange. Because it has a short neck, the strength of the flange is improved and the bearing capacity of the flange is improved. Therefore, it can be used for pipes with higher pressure.
It is mainly used in petrochemical, electric power, chemical, shipbuilding, pharmaceutical, papermaking and other projects.
