Description
Stainless steel flanging nipple is a kind of steel butt welded pipe fittings, which is generally an accessory in loose flange.
When the medium in the pipeline is highly corrosive, the flanging nipple in contact with the medium is made of high-grade corrosion-resistant material, while the non-contact flange part is made of low-grade material. The flange ring clamps it to achieve sealing.
Flanging nipples are generally formed according to the stamping process, and can be divided into long flanging and short flanging according to the length of the straight pipe end.

Characteristic
Stainless steel flanging nipples have tube and plate processes, and are formed by cold or hot processing and methods such as bending, extrusion, molding, machining, etc.
The selection of forming method needs to ensure that the product is not damaged, and some large-diameter flanging also needs welding process.
It can be manufactured in the range of full-size pipes. Dimensions and tolerances are specified by ASME b16.9. Light duty corrosion-resistant flanged nipple is specified by MSS sp43.
Application
Stainless steel flanging nipples are always used together with loose flanges, and are widely used in chemical, construction, water supply, drainage, petroleum, light and light industries;
