Description
HDPE hot melt butt reducer is a kind of chemical pipe fitting, which is used to connect two different pipe diameters.
According to different types, it can be divided into concentric reducer and eccentric reducer.
When the flow of the fluid in the pipeline changes, such as increases or decreases, and the flow requirements change little, the reducer shall be used.

Characteristic
There are three methods to connect HDPE butt reducers:
One is butt welding connection. It is directly butt welded after being heated by the hot-melt machine, which is strong and durable.
The other is socket connection. During installation, the pipe shall be directly inserted into the pipe fitting and sealed with welding rod.
The third type is flange reducer. The pressure of this installation method is sufficient, fast and easy to disassemble.
Application
HDPE hot-melt butt reducer has smooth inner wall, does not change with the use time, has small friction resistance and saves energy. The pressure loss is about 30% less than that of steel pipe.
It has good sanitary performance, no additives, no possibility of polluting drinking water, the lowest ISO standard polyethylene material, and no mold material.
Socket welding is adopted for installation to form a completely closed anti-seepage system. It has good flexibility.
